Hello from Japan. I'm 18 years old user.
My interest in SETI@home started when I first read Carl SaganÂfs book.
Three years ago when I was 16, I was invited to Nobeyama radio observatory (one of national observatory in Japan). I made a receiver and observed the sun. This experience changed my life, and I decided to study astronomy.
Now IÂfm working hard to enter a university. Sadly, in Japan, there are only three universities where students can major in astronomy.

I think extraterrestrial life exists. If it is just us, it seems like an awful waste of space.
This project will give us some clues to the biggest questions like who are we or where are we. Someday, we'll see that we are not alone in this vast, cold universe.
