I'm a 31 y/o businessman from Mizoram,India interested in space science. Ever since I was a child I'd go outside at night to gaze at the stars. I am really fascinated by the stars and celestial objects in the universe. Even to this day I'm wondering if the universe is really measurable at all. Why, attepting to communicate/contact another super intelligent being is a dream, but who knows dreams do come true sometimes. Count me in! I'm willing to lend my computer time for this project. wish all of us here good luck!!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think it's a project worth pursueing because this discovery (if any) will change the way we think about
ourselves as a human being and could possibly alter the very basis of man's research in technological developement.
Besides the cost of the project is less and if target is achieved' though chances of success is low could become an event that impacts man's life more than any other event in the history of man with such a low project cost.
