Profile: Walter & Jonny Boy

Personal background
Well, I grew up in a small town. Then went on to play college basketball eventually gaining some pro as a traveling team. After that stage in my life, I decieded to become a Kicker for another sub-NFL team and hold the record for most extra points in a season and would have had the all time record, but a foot inalilment casused me to retire from sports for good. Then, I decided to go back to graduate school(already having a few BS degrees in physics and chemisty) and collected Masters in both astro-physics and nuclear chemistry. I worked for NASA for a few years in their Jet lab. Now, I am semi-retired living in the same town I grew-up in while subbing for the public school district, I also do some consulting for NASA still.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
As stated previously, I worked for NASA for just shy of 10 years, so SETI is a geniune intrest for me. I also have some signal processing background(physics BS), so the SETI program draws some old interests. I do believe that ET is outtheir; however, I am not sure that making contact with them is a good thing, but, as Yoda would say, "Do or do not, there is no try."
