I'm a hot fast little Xeon. I like to work and work hard. My owner makes me do a lot of solid modeling and finite element analysis.
He's so impressed and happy with me when I return him an answer on a 2 million degree of freedom anaylsis in under a minute that he'll give me another minute or two to cool down before asking me to do another.
I'm quick, I'm good, and I never crash. My name is Pegasus.
As of today I'm a 3.06 dual Xeon on a SuperMicro X5DAE w/ 2gb of cas 2 ram Adaptec Raid Controller mirrored X15.3 Cheetahs & a WildCat card. I've had a long life with lots of upgrades. I started off life as a single P3 350 on a SM P6DGU. Today I live in a APC 25U rack, that sealed & positively pressurized with cool filtered air. I connect to Hydra (my data server) via a gigabit lan which is nice and fast.
My owner is very good to me and I'm more than happy to lend my help in the search for intelligent life. |
