Hi,
My name is Barry, I`m 33 years old, married to Joanne and live in Norwich, UK. I work for a local company as a machine setter. Here, we manufacture packaging products for automotive decorative and protective coatings, in other words paint cans. My main hobby is music, but when I`m not fiddling around with a roomfull of synthesizers, samplers and sequencers, I can either be found looking through my 6" refractor or on this computer, much to the disapproval of Joanne.(only kidding, she is cool!)

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I have only running SETI@home on my computer for 2 days however, I have known about the project for some time.
Why shouldn`t there be itelligent life elsewhere in the universe? I do not wish to run on about stuff that has already been heard, and I probably share the opinions of many others but this is what I believe. There are probably millions of civillizations out in the vastness of our universe all doing what we are however, if we do detect any "signs of life" then I believe that is all we can do. Visiting our cosmic neighbours is something else altogether! |
