I am a self addmitting computer junkie. I am at present a Network/database Administrator for a small manufacturing company in the midwest. The internet has fascinated me since day one, which is how i found the Seti Project. A friend of mine one day told me he was looking for ET and i about busted a gut laughing so hard , he sent me the information and i was amazed.
My hobbies include building my own PC's and combat sims on the internet, i am also a avid chatter and love to do so for hours on end.
As of late I have resigned myself to spending as much time with my new wife to be so lets let Seti run and lets see if ET is really out there

Do I think extraterrestrial life exists? Oh Yes very much so. There are to many signs saying they are around not to think they dont. Given the number of stars and the number of planet systems statisticly there is no way you can there isnt. To think we are the only intelegent lifeforms in the entire universe is so very arrogant. You ask about benefits and risk, the benefits outweight the risk in my opinion the advances in technology and medicine far out distance and fears i would have.
Should we as humans hide form the universe no lets make it know we are here and we are a peace loving species and we want to exchange ideas and views with the rest of the universe
Why SETI hmm good question. I am naturally curious and posess an active imagination. This project has a sound funemental background and being a avid PC junkie it only fits well in my life |
