Personal background
Background:
9I was born in Washington D.C. and my wife Marilyn in New Bedford Mass. We have been married for 49 years and produced five children. I joined the Navy in 1950 and spent the next 25 years traveling all over the world. The most interesting tour was in Gieta Italy for three years. Next most interesting was Patrick Air Force Base where I was the Flight Safty Officer for the Navy Missile shots. We retired and returned to Indian Harbour Beach in 1975.
9I graduated from Rollins college in 1982. I worked for Storage Tech. and Harris Corp. while on the east coast. I retired totally in 1993 and moved to Cypress Cove, in Kissimmee Florida. Marilyn worked for Homes Regional Medical Center and Brevard Anesthesia Group.

Interest:
9Meeting the gang on the tennis courts every morning at 0700. Cooking gourmet meals for Marilyn who works in the office of our park full time. We enjoy Cruise Ship trips and visiting the kids who are spread from North and South Carolina, Las Vegas Nevada, Titusvile Fl. and Oviedo Fl. With all the grand and great grand kids it keeps Marilyn busy sewing for them.

Computer Description:
9Wouldn't have anything but a Mac. G3, 400MH. Running full time on SETI.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Extraterrestrial Life:
9With the astronomical number of Stars and potential Satellites each could have, it seems to me almost impossible that there is not life out there. I think SETI will be the first to discover them and this is why I am so interested in the project. We should transmit a beacon. I don't think there is any reason to fear contacting extraterrestrials. We should send our possition
in the Universe.

SETI@home:
9The only thing that prohibits space travel now is the speed of light. I fully believe this restriction will be over come in the future. I just wish I would be here when it is solved. I think SETI is one of the best projects I have been associated with, I Can't think of a single thing that would improve it.
