I live in Strovolos Cyprus, I'm 28 years old and I work for Hellenic Technical Enterprises Ltd as a Senior Sys Engineer, in the High End Systems Division. I deal mainly with Sun Microsystems servers, and Storage solutions from Veritas Software and Brocade Communications.
I'm running SETI@home (@work actually :-) ) on a Sun SunBlade 1000 with 2x 750MHz UltraSPARC-III CPUs and 4GB of RAM, which is quite effective at number crushing. Why? Because I'd like to think that somewhere out there, somebody must be listening to all our wacky transmissions, and maybe, just maybe someday they'll have something to say in return. |
