Albert N. Milliron has been a Ham Radio Operator since 1986. A Short-wave Listener from the age of 10, I strived to log as many countries as possible. By the end of my eleventh birthday, I confirmed over 140 countries. Air talent at Several Radio stations; talk radio, music, and Christian formats. My Radio Name, “Night Al until Morning, followed me most of my life.

Call signs have been KB4RKT, AAT4SJ (Army Mars), N4OMI, KK4ZO, and AL7KT I have kept to My Alaskan Call since this is my contest call sign and the one most Hams around the world know me by that call sign. You may have worked Dale or I NL7DU in the CQWW, CQWPX, or the ARRL Sweepstakes Contest. I won the 1989 10-meter CQ WPX Contest for Alaska. What a Thrill it was to beat the big guns on Ten meters

I am a Behavioral Scientist, Researcher, and Writer. I am a veteran of the US Army Medical Department and the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Augusta Georgia. My research on seasonal depression and Melatonin is Available In January-February 1994 issue of Arctic Medical Research. You may also find my work on Medline, SleepNet, WebMD, and many Media Outlets throughout the World. In 1995, I found my work in two of the best Selling books on Melatonin.

I have a Icom 706 MkII, 10-80 Inverted-V and a Full Wave Polar Loop (tm) this is a loop Made to frequency 1005/f out of 75 ohm coax both the center conductor and the Shield are soldered together on each end fed into a 2:1 balun or fed with 300 Ohm flat line. Try to get it up between 45-66 feet height. I try to make the Ends equal lengths about 63 feet. I cut the Antenna so it would be resonant around 3700 kHz so the harmonics would be easy matches, many times I don’t even need to use an tuner. I love working Dx on 20 meters with the loop. I also hang out Right now at night around 3855-3915 KHz.

My interests are Behavioral sciences, Fishing, and Lighthouse vacations, metal Detecting, reading, dogs, and US Coins. Have a Shari Pei and a Chow. The Shar Pei is probably the most loyal of any dog I have owned. They are dangerous, However, to anyone who intrudes on the property. I did not know this until Someone tried to intrude on to the property and get away with a few goodies.

I have extensive Satellite equipment. Three C-band Ku-Band dishes analog, DVB Mpeg2 and DCII formats. I am a news junkie. I enjoy watching things as they Happen, from SNG trucks and Helicopters without the Commentary from the talking heads. I do that myself late at night on 80 meters! I am currently working on WAS on 160 Voice.
