Seriously, I think SETI should challenge all the non-believers to prove them wrong by processing work units! After all, if they believe there isn't anything but background noise out there. Then they could do us all a favor and settle it once and for all by getting this part of the project done faster! |

| I think that life outside our solar system exsists, however, I think the chances of us discovering it are about slim at best. However, what were the chances (as known at the time) that we'd make it to the moon before the russians? Or perhaps the chances of recovering from a fatal illness? Slim chances are something, and if we only go after things that we can figure will probably happen, we're not going to discover very much. |
