Personal background
I worked at the Arecibo Observatory as a receiver engineer between 1975-1978. This was a short time but has been the job I enjoyed the most. I recently retired after working for 44 years! I got hooked on Astronomy (who won't, after meeting people like Bill Gordon, Carl Sagan, Don Campbell, Frank Davis and many others!). Been on the SETI network since 1999. My two daughters also got involved, one now works for NASA. My main hobby is photography and I am now in the process of buying my first serious telescope. Now that I am retired, I hope to dedicate more time on the things I enjoy the most! SETI is on the list!

PS: Photo of platform shadow on the dish was taken from the cable car with a Minolta SRT 102 and a MC Rokkor 1.2 lens, which I still own and use today!
