| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I want to help with the S.E.T.I project, because I am a firm believer in life on other planets. In an infinite universe, there is infinite possibility, life has occurred once, so logic dictates that it not only should but also would have to occur again.
My one concern with the discovery of other life is this: I believe that life follows a pattern. And if my belief is true then we may end up pinpointing our location to would be conquerors. I know that may seem a bit alarmist to some. But I suggest looking over our own history, and then wondering just what types of people we may meet out there amongst the stars. |
