Hi, folks!
I'm Bernd Wettstein, living in good old rottin' Ruchheim at Ludwigshafen in Germany. ;-)
My profession is called "IT-Informatikkaufmann", which is another of the thousands of synonyms for the so called word "admin" ;-)
In other words: I have to spend a lot of time for these buggy computers. ;-)
And so while I have to spend so much time for them, I've installed seti@home, so they may spend some time for me, when I don't have to walk with 'em. ;-)))

Why don't we try to trasmit data out to space?!?
Yes, we probably have to wait a while for an answer (maybe one or two billions of years more or less... who knows? ;-) ).
Maybe other civilizations have found out a solution for the problem of sending information over such big distances, maybe solutions we cannot imagin?
