Personal background
Hi I'm from Perth, Western Australia. 29 yrs and married for 8 years now. I am an artist and a 'futurist' at heart, and I believe...I like to believe statisticly we could intercept a signal.
Interested heavily in painting drawing paleantology archaeology quantum physics heavy metal, science
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Perhaps if a signal is received and decoded it will uncover another understanding of communications, opening a whole new avenue of technology.
Not that we are likely to meet them of course, being that their cultures would have risen and fallen long ago.
I think what would be outstanding would be a purpose built comm relay sent in to deep space, of course this will be viable you would be think with new technology to come like quantum comps.Get it to track comets and intercept land refuel, and or hop making its own trajectory changes accordingly after indentifying items of interest. Maybe that any signals detected can be relayed back to a closer interceptor.
But also comes to mind is that it is quite likely that they are in another stream in time you could almost say due to their own star,s relative size and power ...maybe
Hey! I sort of know what I mean!
I'm just writing this, your'e the dude(tte) reading it!
But I'll be back with the further escoteric wanderings from my inner space
