Hi, I'm Javier Fernandez Mateo, but everybody knows me as Xevi.
I was born the 04/11/1978 at Mataró, a little city near Barcelona.
I'm a Computer Engineer by Faculty of Informatics of Barcelona (FIB)(www.fib.upc.es), at the Politechnical University of Catalonia (UPC)(www.upc.es).
My principal hobby is perform human towers, "castells" in catalan.
I'm a member of a "colla", a human castle team in my city, Mataró. This "colla" is called "Capgrossos de Mataro" (www.capgrossos.cat). I'm also a member of an university "colla" at the UPC, we are known as the "Arreplegats de la Zona Universitaria" (www.arreplegats.cat). |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

The first time I knew about SETI was when I was playing Sid Meier's Civilization many years ago (I thing about 90's).
I heard about the SETI project also in Contact (the movie) and later in the book.
I really think that someone else is out there, but don't have any hopes of know about any real contact in my lifetime but, who knows? |
