Hi there! Ever since I found out there is more around us than just our planet I was fascinated by all this. So I started studying Physics but later changed to/"added" Math where I am still kind of stuck with. I am 29 Years old, I live in Germany and I work at the Ruhr-Universitaet Bochum. As many of us if I do not sit in front of a computer _all_ the time since there always has to be the time to watch some educational programms like Star Trek and Futurama.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I am convinced we are not alone. Be it for the simple reason that I think it would be just _very_ arrogant of us to claim we are an exception and not the rule. I don't see what there is so special about Earth. It might not be too easy to prove
(yet) that there is more or we are just looking in a wrong direction but I think SETI@home is a good idea for a start.
