Profile: myself

Personal background
y've already read my name, it belongs to a male single person of 48 years old, but
in it's mind still a child that is wondering about the world around.
I'm working as a kind of do-all in a nursery, where we grow young plants, especially
tomatoes, sweet pepper(capsicum a.) and cucumbers. Anyway it is to me more like a
hobby than a job .
The greatest joy besides this part of my life is playing with computers, solving
problems and discovering the net.
My pc is currently upgraded to AMD X1700 cpu on a MSI KT 3 ultra motherboard with 256 Mb 333ddr RAM memory. O.S. is windows XP home edition witch run rather fast on this configuration but there is not so many more software on this machine to try out the real performance. One strange thing, it looks like SETI is performing faster result while I'm doing things then in idle mode

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I found out about Seti about 2 years ago in a computer magazine, the idea of di
stributed computing was new to me but got a lot of attention.
This is not something for fun, someone is really doing something with the results
of my work. It's really contributing something to the science of astronomy, where
we are discovering that mankind is just a very tiny grain of sand in the vast ocean
we called space.Trying to find another grain is nothing more than ashtonishing
