| I don't know the answer to that. However it would be very arrogant for mankind to think that in all this universe that we were the only intelligent life. The danger of such a discovery will have severe impacts on religion, our own beginnings, for I do not believe in evolution, it would re-write human history as we know it. Why not send a beacon of some sort! I think it should be mathematical in nature because math is a universal language, just look up! I run SETI at home because it is so interesting and it gives an everyday person that does not have the access to the materials in which to do this on his or her own. It truly is a remarkable program |
