Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I´m convinced that alien life exist and I hope I could help a little bit to find signals from other stars. So Seti@home is the best way to analyse signals from any possible location in the universe.
I´m not sure whether we should send a beacon out in space. This might be a risc. There could be thousands of friendly kinds of species and one which might become dangerous for us.
But I think it´s stupid to think that we´re alone. And Seti@home will prove the opposite sooner or later.
