Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I don't know if we will find something out there, I rather belive they're for us, but I guess it would be arrogant to presume we'd be the only ones. I mean, we're not even the only ones on this f****** planet, why shouldn't there be something else in the universe?
I won't start listing up all the benefits, there are so many things going wrong on this place, just look at the telly-news every day! Every help is highly appreciated!
Dangers? Someone might seek for their private benefit. Perhaps they will destroy us on first sight, but to be true - this could be a benefit as well.

2. Well, I don't think it would do a big difference to send or send not a beacon. If they're intelligent enough they might have seen us before. if they meant to harm us, they'd already done. If they're not advanced enough to get to us, a beacon won't be danger. But for sure, there is an important info missing: Come on and see us, as long as we're still existing!!!

3. It's just a little part in a big thing which hopefully one day gives us an answer on our question.
