| I live in Fairfax, Virginia, was born in 1957, have a B.S. in Computer Science, and have been working as a System Administrator since 1980. I became fascinated with Astronomy and Computers as a youth. I built my own telescope and learned Computer Programming in the early 70s. My passion for computers keeps me away from Astronomy more than I would like. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I believe that extraterrestrial life exists, but I fear that intelligent life is rare enough that we may find ourselves alone at our current technological level.
I run SETI@home because I believe we have to know if there is anyone out there that we can talk to and learn from and share experiences with. |
