I'm a 26 year old student living in Turku, Finland and studying at the Ã…bo Akademi University for a masters degree in science. The field is process engeneering and specializing in heat transfer and energy processes.
Beside my studies I'm also managing a small IT-firm with some fiends, partly to finance my studies and partly for pure intrest and the challanges.
My hobbies include everything from waterskiing to kickboxing and boxing, however I don't seem to be able to find the time needed to do it all. During winters cross country and down hill skiing is always interesting and every now and then we go swimming with friends in holes dug in the ice. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I'm pretty cirtain that some kind of extrarerrestrial life exists. I can't believe that earth would be the only planet among the millions of starsystems that have been able to sustin life.
The question is more: "what kind of life exists out there?". I don't know if we ever will be able to spot any other intelligent lifeforms other than ourselves, but I'm willing to lend a hand to some with good ideas of how it can be done. |
