I was invited into this group by Carl Sagan in May of 1999.
That was special.
It's now April 19, 2007.
I am 69, retired, live in San Antonio, Texas,
and have hundreds of friends across the USA and around the world.
The BOINC-SETI project runs 24-hrs a day here in my home,
It ran under the SETI program from May of 1999.
It has run under the BOINC program since December 18 of 2005
and until I got bored with BOINC problems 186 days ago.
So, today, I renew my interest
at the invitation of the folks who run SETI
who have noticed I haven't been around for the last 186.
It gives me pride to support this effort. |
