Personal background
AKA Peteniuos Bakinerous humungouslibidoness
I work as a Project Manager for EDS Australia's Internet and Web Hosting division. I am also studying for a Computer Science Degree, majoring in Ecommerce technologies.

I have been interested in extraterrestrial events / issues / stories for quite some time now, and I hope to one day find some true meaning, or proof to it's existence.

I am also interested in Out of Body Experiences (OBE's) and some of the wiccan teachings, although I have not been too successful in that venture.

I hope to retire within the next 10 years, and live on a large property, where I can live my life in a self sustainable environment, using new technologies for farming of food and energy.

:-)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I think ET life exists.
I have a notion that humans have already been in contact with it, as there a many examples of events and structures still in existance today, that modern science and technology cannot explain. We may be able to use "Alien" tech. to improve our lifestyles, and reduce the impact of our being on the earth.

2. We should transmit some sort of signal. I don't know where to start with "what kind of info." we should send. The amount of info. we have these days is too much already.

3. I like to play my little part in the project, like most others probably do. It is also good to see, how much of an impact your computer may have made to the overall results.
I think we should purchase and maintain a mainframe, or PC farm to do alot of these caluclations. The renumeration can be made by company sponsers, and perhaps a small joining fee. Even US$2.00 would make such a big impact, as long as people can see proof that their money is going to good use.
