Hello,
My name Nicolas and i live in Paris. I am a computer programmer and I work in a software company. I like a lot Paris beacause there are big pedestrian way to play roller :), you can go everywhere in Paris with your roller ! It's great :)
Roller is on of my hobbies. Else, my passion is computer programmation.
I like travel too, and at this time i'll try to take the best price on flight to try to go everywhere on the Earth :). But it's hard !

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1) I think that we cannot be alone in the Univers. But I don't really beleive in the little green men :). I think (and I hope) we'll discover them very very later, because we already have difficult to understand each other without fight, so I don't beleive that it can be easier with ETI. And I think we must be ready to accept them. And I'm sure we're not.
2) I think it's could be a good thing. We try to find another intelligence, so if they do the same thing, we can let for them a beacon to improve their searches :). Perhaps information about our location, our solar system and some information about the Earth, like size, atmospher, etc... And few information about human population. Or ... we can just let a beacon which send "S.O.S, save The Earth".
3) I run SETI@Home because i like this kind of research. I like science, i think it's important to do research on lot of thing to understand our environment. And if i can help with my computer, it's great :)! |
