| I'm a software developer who lives to travel through space. I know my dreams cannot be realized in this live , only hope is to be found one on more extraterrestrial races which can help us ,so I work ( try to help ) on it. I have realy interesting story. It was a competition . Friend of mine and me always quarrel about "who has better PC" . So one day he proposed to run SETI on our PC's to see who is faster . I knew what is SETI from movie 'Contact' and didn't know what did he mean about running SETI. That was the first time i headr there is distributed processing of 'work units'. That was my start . I knew my PC is to slow to help much , but hope noone gonna be stoped by this. There is one bulgarian saying which i gonna perephrase : " bit by bit = byte byte by byte = GIGABYTE " :) Now i run SETI on two Pentium III 800 MHz and one Athlon TunderBird 1.3GHz Finaly I'm sorry about my bad English. This is it. |

| About question "Does extraterrestrial life exist ?" I always answer this question "I don't hope it exists , I know it !!!" And ofcourse there are benefits and dangers about discovering it , but i think they gona find us and be much more advanced than us , so we would not be able to do nothing i they wanted to do harm. But for sure they will bring with them their advanced technology. No matter what we transmit , if they can understand it gonna be great. |
