Personal background |
Hello all. I work in an animal shelter here in the High Desert in Southern California. I am a long time and very serious music fan who loves everything from Heavy Metal to Jazz to Blues to Bluegrass and all points in between. I also enjoy old movies and Nascar.
SETI is doing very important work and I am glad to be even a small part of it.
Anyone from the southern California area who shares my interests are encouraged to email me at the above address.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
Yes, I think there is probably life beyond our planet, and it is the purest form of human self deception to think otherwise. I think that eventually the vast chasm of space will be crossed, most likely by radio transmission.
I run SETI@home because I think that the SETI programs are doing very important work and as one of those people with a DSL connection that is up and running all the time, as well as a computer that is never shut off the donation of all the extra computing time is the least that I can do and I will encourage others to do the same. If the signal is there, wouldn't it be a tragedy to miss it because no one was listening? |
