Profile: Dimitar Timnev

Personal background
I'm originally from Bulgaria, but currently live in the United States. I'm 30 years old, married, and expecting my first child in the beginning of July 2002. My hobbies include, but are not limited to distributed computing (Seti@home of course ;-), United Devices cancer research project, and TSC (Tuberous Sclerosis Complex) conducted by the Rothberg Institute for Childhood Diseases); i've been involved with music since i was very little, used to sing in a choir for 8 years and play the violin for another 5 years, not to mention another 3 years playing in a band in high school (heh, those good old times...)
I graduated from the City University of New York - Baruch College two years ago, majoring in Finance and Investments, but am currently thinking of going for Master's in Business Computer Information Systems.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do believe we are not alone in the Universe. Whether we will find another intelligent life form during our lifetime is another story though. However, i think it's worth trying, that's why i run SETI@home.
