And all the years i was spending mutch time with computers and now i ended up as a telephone supporter for computerparts :) but this is realy fun sometimes.
I play computergames most of my time .. but i allso read many books and go out in the woods especialy when raining. I love the smell of wet eath and trees.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1.Do you think extraterrestrial life exists? If so, when and how will humans discover it? What are the possible benefits and dangers of such a discovery?

Yes i do belive that. The universe is so big. I dont think the other lifes will come and visit us, but if they do i dont belive they'll come in peace. Whole life on eath evolved in centuries and all life was fighting to be the most strongest race on his planet. So do the humans. They are fighting to be the most powerfull species on eath. Why should other races not do the same evolution as we do? Only if the grow up in a wold where no other species, no other bacterium is living, for they dont have enemys to fight against. We get the clou eh? :)
Right .. this is imposible.

2.Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find? If so, what information should we send?

Ergo -> no we should not.

3.Why do you run SETI@home? What are your views about the project? Any suggestions?

I'm a curious person, i want to know. Think we all want to know if threre ist life out there. This project is one of many good things mankind do to confirm if there is life out there or not. I think the "aliens" wont send signals to other planets. If there are other species out there i think they dont want to be disturbt.

Sorry my english is not very well but i try my best ... Bob
