Personal background

I am retired and amateur astronomer's. Since I perfected my knowledge on the cosmos,I have the conviction that in the immensity of the universe, it is more that likely that life exists under different shapes, from the microbe to shapes more evolved. If the ultimate goal of the evolution of the biologic life in the universe is to arrive to a being said " superior" and capable to think, I tell to myself when I contemplate the cosmos in my telescope that maybe somewhere out there, is there another being endowed of intelligence that also watches the stars and galaxy in his telescope and who's asking to himself the same question that me, to know, are we alone in this immensity to want to understand and to admire this universe of which we are the fruit?
