Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do believe the existence of other intelligent extra-terresterial
life forms. In fact I even suspect other intelligent life
forms may exist in our own earth next to humans. It is
necessary to search and I would like them to be discovered
in my lifetime itself.

May be.... those things will invade us as in the movie
"Mars Attacks" or may be we will fly to have a holiday
trip with them... I have no clue but would be happy if t
he second thing happens.

I run SETI@Home for the above said reasons and I run them
on two of my office servers. (Win2K and SunSolaris) In fact
my immediate senior opposed its usage (may be ego/jealousy problem
as I getting more popular and liked by my fellow workers)and
I got official / legal permission from my his chiefs after
explaining them everything. I should thank them for permitting
me to run SETI@Home.

In now way I am recomending anyone to run SETI@ home at office
computers. It may be considered mis-use of official resources.
But I thought I should fight for my belief and should not do
something just because my senior orders so.
