ET does exist.
Can't tell when humans will discover.
The overall benefit is to learn more about ourselves, sometimes that's dangerous.
I run seti@home so we can find aliens faster. SETI seems to have a primitive approach to finding ET, we need to start thinking on the quantum level and figure out what it's going to take to make something go faster than light. We know how far, we just don't know how to get anything that far.
Heck, we don't even know where we are.. |
