Hello,
my *real* name is Stefan Thierolf and I'm a Star Trek fan (Yes, I love the ferengies and the latinuum ;-)). I'm 26 years old and I'm working as a IT System Engineer and Developer at a company near Darmstadt/Germany.

At this time, my new server (2x Intel PentiumIII Xeon@450MHz with 1MB L2 Cache, SunOS 5.8 x86) computes for seti@home.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1) In my opinion, extraterrestrial life exists, humans discover that they are klingons and they run linux :-)
2) Humans should transmit a beacon. I don't know what information should we send - pherhaps that we are running linux too???
3) I run seti@home because it's a kewl thing to search for extraterrestrial life - and my computers at home have something to do ;-)
My Suggestion: a better client for Solaris x86 platform
