I personally believe that it is only a matter of time before we discover life outside of our own world. I think that it is an impossibility that the universe can be so vast and not have any other life outside of what exists on Earth.
I think that the potential good in the discovery of extraterestrial life far outweighs the dangers involved with searching into the unknown.
I run SETI@home because I want to be a part of helping to find life in the universe. It is simply exciting to me that I can contribute to such an effort. |
