Personal background

Hello SETI@HOME Team:

My name is Nicholas, and I live in Boston, MA.
All my life I have questioned my self if we are alone or not
but never wondered what we were doing to determine that
answer. It was not a long period of time ago when I discovered that many Projects were taking place and optimisticly scientists devote themselves to make contact
with the unknown. If there wasn't any possibility of detecting ET we would not be searhing for it.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home

According to the information provided on different sources
we still do not content firm evidence of the existence of Alien Civilizations, but that does not signify we will not
detect any. I have read a lot of information about how the
SETI@HOME Project works and applies its distribution of data to all the users in the world and I consider it
extremelly relevant to ignore. Actually it is funny, one
day I was accesing the Internet with an initial purpose of
exploring interesting ScreenSavers, when suddenly I found
a particular one which I decided to analyze, I have observed different Screenshots and I knew it was my opportunity to be part of the most exciting and persistant Search of all times, The Search for ExtraTerrestrial
Intelligence, so I felt obligated to download it and I am
proud to be part of the SETI@HOME Project.
