I am originally from New York, NY but have been living in Boston, MA since 1987. I came to Boston to go to school (MIT) and just kinda stuck around :-)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@Home because its such a cool idea.. sharing CPU cycles I mean. It fits very nicely with the open spirit of cooperation and discovery that I came to love while at MIT.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
