I am a 63 year old IT Manager. I have a wired home network built on Server 2003 systems with approx 20TB of distributed storage. I use a D-Link 24 port switch and a Billion ADSL+ Router. At the moment, I have just one PC running SETI. It has an overclocked AMD Phenom II X6 1090T and an NVIDIA GTX 780.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home because I think it is worthwhile making a contribution to discovery. It is a great project and I wish there were more 'idle' PCs running SETI@home.
