Personal background
Hi, I am Erik!

Born the year Beatles became famous (1962).
Started at school when they began braking up.
Was a programmer the year Lennon died.

I am/was a computer-nerd from Denmark with no regular hours at work, now I have a family, house etc. am I working in industrial production and as a crane operator :-)

Now I spent most of my spare time with my girlfriend. We have bought a house and there's allways something todo! We bought a new house with space for our third child - and no room for computers :-)

I have some computers working on SETI. My Linux server is turned off, now I have outsourced all my webthings.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
--- myOpinion ---

1. Life outthere... hmmmm... sure!

I remember a lot of (old) science fiction movies :)
There are many ways to discover life - pack you back at travel outthere.
Benefits/dangers: I think of "Mars Attacks" :-)

2. The earth has been sending radio and television for almost 100 years. The signals has been carried since then, and will be received if somebody or SOMETHING listens!?

3. I run SETI@home for fun and because I have some leftovers (idle CPU-time) on my computers.

--- THAT'S IT ---
