Personal background
I am a witty, athletic, and eclectic person. Some of my traits include: integrity, patience, and passion. I enjoy a wide variety of interests, such as: theater, concerts, art, volleyball, racing, cinema, writing, crosswords, hiking, picnics, and many other things. I like to keep active, but confess that I enjoy lazy Sunday afternoons. I'm into fitness, and keeping healthy. I am conservative in my values, frugal in my finances, and moderate in my politics. I'm at home hiking through the forest, strolling the beach, or taking in the town.

My dream has always been to be an astronaut, from as early as I can remember. My vision started to fail when I was 13, and I knew that it would never be, I still mourn my dream.

I currently work in retail management, though I sense that that will change by the end of the year. I own my own business and as it grows, so does my ability to help others. I have an insatiable curiosity for everything, and love new experiences.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I think E.T. life does exist, for it is arrogant to believe that we are God's only creation in such a vast universe. I think it will be a long time, if ever, before we make first contact. There is a strong possiblity that we could destroy ourselves before that happens. I think at this point first contact would cause us as humans to either rally as one people, or divide along theological lines. There will be some who are unable to reconcile the existence of God and extraterrestrials, although it's not that difficult to do so.

2. We should so that extraterrestrials that may be capable of interstellar travel might find us, or so that those who are technologically comparable to us will know we're here. Even just communication with another world, could possibly unite us as a race and propel are spiritual, technological, and societal advances to unimaginable results.

3. I do so to be a part of the effort, and because right now, it's all I can contribute. I view it as one of the most important projects we as humans can undertake, along side ecological efforts, and the advancement of a global community.

As for suggestions: I'm kind of science nut and would love to know and understand what the results of the data my computer analyzed were. Was it a known astronomical source, or a new one? Was there anything at all?
