Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
You reckon we are alone? C'mon - get a life.

Firstly, statistically we could never be alone, the big challenge is for us to find the other guys(?), and for them to find us.

But when we do - perhaps we could both learn from each other, provided that we could find a way of communicating.

SETI@Home is a great way in which all earthlings can participate in this search for "otherlings" - who knows when the eventual successful day will dawn, but I am convinced that it will. Maybe I can be the first ambassador if my computers locate THAT signal!
