I am a 44 year old living in South East England interested in all things scientific. I enjoy creating computer generated artwork using the Terragen program. I heard about SETI@home on one of the cable channels and thought I would give it a go. Well you just never know till you try do you?
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
They say that the chances that we are the only ones out here (there) are pretty slim. So the chances of a signal being sent out that we can receive must be pretty large. Finding it is another matter. But if we don't look we will never find it. So let's keep looking.
We have been sending out radio and TV signals for some time now, If someone is out there I wonder what they would think of us from those messages. They might decide to stay away!!!
