| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

i begun running seti because i wanted to check out if my new buyed athlon runs stable when pushed to its limit. my athlon didn´t get hot or unstable so i decided to use my calculating power for something that´s probably useful.
nowadays i run seti on a athlon 1000, on a PIII 933, a PIII 733, a AMD K6-2 350 and last but not least a pentium 166MMX. the last pc has not finished a work unit yet, it might take him a year to solve this. |
