Hi...I've always had an interest in the stars, astronomy and the like. I've been a big SciFi fan for years as well.

Age: Old enough to know better, too young to care
Marital Status: Married
Occupation: secretarial (currently looking for work)
Hobbies: camping, hiking, and my latest obsession -- Belly Dancing :)

I think its pretty arrogant to think we are the only intelligent life forms in the universe. There must be other beings out there, maybe so advanced they have no time to bother with us :) Who knows?
It would be great if there was funding and/or more interest in a beacon to send out to the cosmos in the search for intelligent life. I personally don't think other life forms would be invaders or conquerors of other civilizations....but I've always been an optomist ;)
I run SETI to give a hand to UC Berkeley, which was my dad's alma mater, and I think its a great project :) |
