I am from Tekonsha MI, I have lived in Michigan most of my life. We moved to a lovely community in Lynn Haven, Florida and lived there briefly for two years, however I became homesick for Michigan and my family here so we moved back.
I am 52 years old
I am a Licensed Practical Nurse in a nursing home, I have been a nurse since 1982. I became interested in nursing through the care of one of my children, Amy. She had a terminal brain cancer that she was born with, and then later my mother developed a terminal bone cancer which reinforced my desire to help and nurture others.
My hobbies include amateur photography, scrapbooking, coin collecting, crocheting, genealogy, collecting Santa's and "Denim Day" figurines.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I believe that extraterrestrial life exists.
I believe that we have "ET's" that already live amongst us and for reasons known only to themselves choose to do so discretely.
I don't believe we as a whole treat those who are "different" open armed, there seems to be suspicion and fear attached to the unknown.
I became acquainted with SETI@home while visiting my cousin in Adrian MI.
She had it as a screensaver on her home computer and briefly explained it to me.
The more I thought about it I too wanted to donate the use of my down time to SETI's use, snooped around the internet and downloaded the program.
I hope my computer proves usefull to your endeavor.
