Hi,
I joined SETI@Home some 2-3 years ago because I thought that unused computational power should not be wasted, but used in a good cause - such as trying to find signals from other conscious beings. I also participate in Einstein@Home to contribute to gravitational waves research.
I believe that humans should cooperate more rather than only compete.
I am an engineer. Currently I do research work in nanometrology at DTU, Denmark.
