I am on active duty in the U. S. Coast Guard, stationed in Ketchikan, Alaska at a Small boat Search & Rescue station here.
I have had an interest in Radio for a number of years which brought me to participate in the program.
I have been an amateur radio operator since 1997 and priamrily operate the OSCAR satellites and a little HF digital.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
There has to be someone/sonethig else out there so I think it's great that so many of us are doing our part to find them.
We have already been transmitting a beacon for others, Marconi started it and we keep it going today without even thinking about it.
