| At time of writing, I am a 38 yr old electronics tech working for the Canadian military. Spent the last 14 years working in the IT world - from repair, to lan administration and helpdesk supervisor. Enjoy fantasy novels, playing guitar, and spending time with my wife and kids. Only 11 more yrs before I can retire and do the travelling I want to do. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| Started running SETI@home after first wife left me in 2000. Couldn't find any intelligent life there so I figured I should start looking elsewhere :) Enjoy being a part of something much bigger, where my contribution, however small, can help in the overall project. In such a vast universe that we live, it would be highly egotistical to believe we are the only intelligent ones. To much Star Trek and shows like it peaked my interest in space exploration and the desire to know that we're not alone out there. |
