I hope Iowa State can start a baseball team
so i can play there when i go there or i want
to join the pep band there and play at all the
basketball games. I went to the first 2 rounds of
the NCAA Mens basketball championchip last march
and i must say i am ashamed of ISU looseing to Hampton.
But Hampton did have a much better pep band then ISU
So thats why they won.
My dad is the New Physics Teacher At Boise State University
and got his pHd in astro physics at Iowa State
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
i think that et does exist and i think that we will contact them because
they have no interest in the human race because we are simply to primative
so we are the ones who are going to do most of the contacting around here.
i think it deffinatly could be a dangerouse thing because what if the ailians
are hostile then we would be screwd and they will enslave humanity. On the other
hand if they were friendly then they could share there knowledge with us and
make this world a better place to live in
Yes i think we should transmit a beacon for others to find and i think we shouls
send information about were our planet is placed in our solar system so they
could visit. and i think we should send all the different kinds of life that live
here and the history of our planet and the human race.
I run Seti at home because i think it is a cool idea to try to find et. and it
gives my computer something to do when im not useing it. Unfortunatly i have had
this computer for around 4 years now and my microprosseser is probably overclocked
so i am worried about giveing false data back to seti@home. Well other that that
i think it is a grand idea.
