I am a 3rd generation Colorado native, a 56 year old semi-retired
electrician, Neuropsychologist and charter boat captain.
When I can, I exercise daily, follow the Broncos, SETI and look for fine food.

I firmly believe in ETI, then, now and in the future. But looking at the
Drake equation from which that conclusion is drawn, I see that it may be
far, extinct or yet to be. Some day our signals may be found and
we will be as gods, or children, to the receiver[s].
Super and hypernova explosions seed the Universe with the same
organic compounds, water, O2, etc.. So, we may even share DNA.
If it CAN happen in the Universe, it probably WILL happen.
Timing and distance probably preclude 2-way communication, trade
and invasion.
But we may find them, or some day our legacy will be found;
and intelligent life will be buoyed.
