| I live in Texas with my wife, son, and dog. I'm 31 years old and work as an equipment tech in the semi-conductor industry. My hobbies are computer hardware, games, wrestling, astronomy, cosmology, guns, music, and a bunch of other stuff. I rarely get bored : ) I used a picture of my son because he's more fun to look at. I look like him.......just add long hair and a goatee. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| Do I believe in ET's? Absolutely! Do I believe they're visiting us, abducting us, and in cohoots with the government? No way! I'm not into the conspiracy garbage. With over a billion galaxies, each having millions of stars, I just can't believe life didn't evolve elsewhere. Did I say evolve? Yep. That's what I believe. There's no telling when we'll make contact. It could be tomorrow; it could be 200 years. It will no doubt be the greatest and most significant discovery of all time. Hopefully contact will be made with them flying down to say "Hi". That would be immediately beneficial. Contact by sending signals back and forth across space would be less than efficient. I run SETI because I do believe they're out there.........and I want to find them! |
